Tube light by Clam

Recommended Posts

I am thinking about ordering this light. I was wondering if anybody has used it and could tell me if they like or dislike it. I like that it rechargable and 12 volt. I would like to know how long the alligator clip wires are. Or if somebody knows of some place I could put my hands on it. Any info would be great thanks!

That work light style lighting work fairly well, and offers a lot of utility. Plus they can run off a Vex battery if needed, so they are a good option.

While your looking, take a look at the new Stick on Lights out as well. They are another very good option to run off a Vexilar battery.

I LOVE mine. I even have 2 so that 1 stays with my ice gear and the other I use around the garage, working on the truck, and the like. Can't tell you on the length of the leads with the alligator clips, though becasue I've never had the need to use them. It runs so long between charges that I've never had it go dead on me. In my Fish Trap, I velcro it to the top hoop, and can rotate it to aim the light wherever I need it. When I'm done fishing, I un-velcro it, and switch it into flash light mode to help me pack up and walk off the ice. Once I get back to the truck, I hang it from the bed rail by its hook so that I can see to load the truck.

Munchy71 thanks for the response I got the light yesterday. Looks great however there doesn't seem to be a battery tender tin the charger. So my question is how long do you charge the light? I would hate overcharge it right away. Thanks

I just charge it overnight along with my Vexilar. wink
