Makes a lot of sense. Trout regulations are so protective that all we have left is a ton of trout that are small and stunted.

"I think it would be wise to look at the trout fishing regulations from a different angle. I'd say it's time to protect the larger ones from harvest and allow some of the smaller ones to be creeled instead. To use an old axiom of gardening, "ya gotta thin the carrot patch in order to get bigger carrots."
