Blacktail deer

My aunt lives in West St Paul. She said she had some deer that came to her birdfeeder that looked quite odd. They had black tails and black trim around their ears, plus a little black patch on the front of their chest. I showed her some pictures of a blacktail deer, and she said that was it. There are three of them that come quite often. I haven't seen them but she said she'll take pictures. Could there be blacktail deer in the cities and if so, is it something the DNR should be informed of?

Most of the deer I shoot are dark like that. Black tails black chest and black spine. here is a buck my father got a few years ago, granted it is up north, I'm sure there are spots all around MN that has this variation.

All three deer we got this past weekend had black tails, black briskets and black trimmed ears.
