for those of you that are deer hunting public land how earley are you goin to get to ur stand to make sure u get ur place

I'm sitting in my stand already. Just kidding! I will let of you guys have the excitement of opening weekend, I only go during the muzzleloader season. I do have to admit that I sure get an itchy trigger finger on the first weekend of November. Good luck and have fun everybody!

I don't know if you have to worry about getting to your place before somebody else does. I always tried to be on stand an hour before shooting time. Unfortunately my energy level is another casualty of my aging body. Now I only hunt afternoons. Nothing beats watching the woods come alive after enjoying a clear sky full of stars.
