looking at buying 1 of these this year. anyone have any expericence with them? likes/dislikes? i like the reverse option. would like to get the attacker II but to many rpms for inside the ice castle. thanks for any input.

They do make a awesome quality unit. I put a Nils cutting head on one and boy, that baby was like a hot knife through butter.

I have to agree with everyone else on here. I have had mine for 3 years as well and absolutely love mine, you would never see me go back to a gas powered auger after owning one of these.

I really wanted an Icegator. The cost pushed me to a gas. Had it not been for gift certificates to a local sporting goods retailer I probably would have sprung for the gator.

When I finally get a wheel house I will be buying a Gator and selling the gas auger.
