Minnkota Quit Beeping

Big Northern

Question

My 8 year old Co-Pilot/AutoPilot 65 no longer beeps when I change the speed with the two remotes. Over the summer I noticed the beeps got quieter, and sometimes worked and sometimes did not. Now it makes no noise at all. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

Thanks guys,I appreciate the ideas and I replaced the battery but that did not help. I can hear faint clicks coming from the motor when I change speeds with the remote, and those clicks disappear, are continuous, or are audible when commands are entered according to whichever of the three modes it is in. The motor operates fine so it seems whatever device makes the beeping noise in the motor is bad. Any other ideas?

There's got to be a little beeper in there--I will call Minnkota and find out for myself how their customer service is.
