Calendar on Droid, losing entered appointments

I've done a google on this and am trying to find someone with first hand experience.

For my firewood deliveries, as soon as I get off the phone, or sometimes even while I'm on the phone, I'll enter a delivery as an appointment, put in all the pertinent information, save it, have the phone say 'entry saved', and then when I go back to the calendar, the entry is gone from the phone's calendar, nor is it saved on the calendar on the computer.

Any help?

Have you tried doing a battery pull? I was having a similar issue with pictures and that solved it. Droid2 for me.
