chasineyes
Ok, so I just got a great deal on some granite. I'm looking to haul 4-96" slabs home in my Expedition. They weigh 275 each. I plan on building a base out of 3/4 plywood and then 4 L-Brackets to hold them upright. Is that much weight going to be a problem? Unfortunately I won't be able t close the tailgate, I'm about 4 inches too long. Thanks
jeffreyd
why not rent a pick up for a day?
deadeye
The weight won't be a problem. A couple of big guys and their hunting stuff weighs more than that. Just make sure you come up with a way to keep the back end shut. Tie is down well and take it easy.Or like jeffreyd said rent a pickup. Jeremy airjer W
I've seen more than that in a geo prizm, if you know what I mean!
