pulleye16
I just purchased the Gut Wrench the day before opener on an impulse buy. I bought the "Duck" size and LOVE it, but I see no need to purchase any of the other sizes and one should work for them all. It came in handy during mid day action break. Simple slit near the butt, insert, full twist and out it comes. A few needed a couple extra insertions but I never got blood on the hands and was able to keep hunting and snacking through out the day. Weather was cooler but it sure is nice to get them cleaned out instead of sitting all day, should work well with pheasants and geese too. Will
I have been considering one as well, did it pull out the gizzard as well?-------Will
pulleye16
yeah-it pulled most every thing out on the first pull but some required more. ONLY twist it around 1 to 1.5 times or every thing gets to twisted up and will not work good. Simple, easy and works. Definetly not a necessity but I would recommend it. Sure beats cleaning all your birds at the end of the day...you can simple guttem during the hunt and not having to worry about getting your hands dirty.
