Price of a pelt depends on fur grade, size, region fur was harvested in, sold fleshed & dried or in the round. Pelts must be prime for sale. preferably no holes and properly stretched to auction house grading size. A well prime northern MN beaver at a large size is averaging around 15 to 20 dollars with the current fur market.

Last fall I sold them green (not skun) in Dec. but only got $5.50. If I would have skun, fleshed, rounded the pelt, I would would have gained $2.00. How if you have an auction house that you can afford to set the pelts into you may get more. But do want to wait for the auction houses to do the sale or would U like your cash how?
