Fishing remains slow. The cooler weather is bringing out a few more anglers to enjoy the lake.

Fishing is starting to pick up a bit. The cooler weather is bringing out a few more anglers to enjoy the lake. Channel Catfish - Fair: Try along the face of the dam and up at the upper end for the catfish. Stink baits or chicken liver is working the best. Bluegill - Fair: Look to the edge of the weed beds in 6 to 8 feet of water to find some nice bluegills. Small jigs tipped with worm will be your best bet.

Bluegill - Good: Bluegill fishing is improving but they are headed out deeper again. Work the edges of the deeper weed beds with a small jig tipped with bait.
