I am moving to helena mt in a few days. Has anyone ever fished out there? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am also heading to the big C before I go and was wondering if anyone had any advice for fall trout, fly fishing or otherwise. Thanks!

Go north of Helena, go to Headhunters Fly Shop in Craig.

These guys guide the Missouri river daily. They know their stuff. Head up there and pick their brains for a while, they'll be happy to talk trout as long as you can stand it.

Get out to some water and throw a hopper fly a foot from the banks or down some fast ripples. You'll catch fish.
