Maytag top load washer, load becomes unbalanced, doesnt do it all the time, unit is level.The unit has a unbalanced spin load compensator.6 years old worth fixing or just replace. Thanks.

Same thing with a maytag for us, probably an 8-10 year old model for us. We have been fighting that for years, not sure what to do. I purchased it from S@@@@ and they were no help. If I were you, sell it and get another--the lonely maytag repairman is a thing of the past. I need to do the same.

It wouldnt be bad if it shut off when unbalanced. Iam always running downstairs and it is bouncing around.Been searching online cant find nothing for a fix besides redistribute clothes.

Exactly the same with us. In fact over time, I think the bouncing was responsible for working a the fill hose loose that partially flooded our finished basement!!!! I considered putting it out in the yard and using a stick of dynamite! We will be getting a new one before winter, otherwise we don't dare do the wash and leave the house.
