Northwest angle muskie report.

Went up to the angle over the weekend. Figure I would give a report. Didn't boat a fish bisides a few northerns. Had 30 or 40 follows. It seem the further north we went the more active they were. Even had a fish on a topwater but it shook lose. Had a few other strikes on topwater. I certainly had my chances just couldn't close the deal ,Oh well still fun. I would say the topwater would be the best bait to use but most people say big blades. We only had one follow on a DCG. Algea is starting to get thick in some parts of the lake. Good luck to anyone going up there.

Good report Chris. I was up there in late August last year and fished Walleyes & Muskies in Bishops Bay but didnt get any follows until we went up to Big Narrows on the last day and had action in the last bay we fished. We are heading up again a week from Sunday to fish the same area. We are staying at Youngs Bay Resort.
