i bought this unit in may and has worked great uptill last week on mille lacs. while anchored for a slip bobber evening bit all of the sudden it quit reading the bottom..thought it was a loose wire or low bat. but wires were good and i have 12 volts. got it home to a local lake took it out and if i turn the sensitivity up all the way to 20 sometimes it will read bottom but has a very week signal. i whiped of the transducer and reset defalt settings numerous times. any one have any ideas. thanks

Call Humminbirds customer service and talk to them. Sounds like your transducer went bad, if it did you will have to talk to them to get a new one, if it didn't they will be able to point you to the problem. Make sure you have your unit registered and that you the latest updates installed.

Agree. This has been showing up quite a bit lately with HBs, and their CS people should take care of you. Good luck getting it taken care of.

got a new transducer and fix the problem.. I cant say enough good things about the customer service dept at humming bird, they are light years ahead of lowrance, and that was the main reason i went with a bird this time.
