Computerr help please.

To start of I am pretty computer unsavy, very little experience. Our dell laptop creshed an took it in an had to have the hard drive replaced, lost everything. Now we hace it back an works fine but before I could just pop in an sd card an load pictures to the computer an then to photobucket. Now apparently we have lost that wizzard softwear an the computer dosent recognize the device. What can i do. I cant veiw picture on an sd card., an download them to the laptop Any help would be great. Thanks. boar

It sounds like you are missing some of the software that came with the computer but you should still be able to get to the photos. If you go into MY Computer you should be able to see your SD card and if you double click on that you should see a folder that might say something like DCIM or some type of folder that your camera will create and if you double click on that you should see your photos.

Do you know if all your drivers got reloaded on the new hard drive ?

Did all of your software for your camera get loaded on the new hard drive ?

Yep they may not have installed all the drivers. You may need to go to dell and download the drivers. A quick call to dell support may help.

Call dell, give them your service tag number and ask for a drivers cd to be mailed to you.
