hi im thinking of getting a larger boat.i fish faribault,waterville,and metro area lakes and sometimes millacs.do you guys think an older ranger 619 or 620 would be way too big for faribault waterville area lakes i currently have a 16ft fisher and its the only boat ive ever owned,your opinions are appreciated thank you

Welcome to FM.

I do not think it would be to big. I run around in a 20 footer in the same area as you in Faribault, Waterville and Kato. The only lake I have issues on is French, but the water is way up this year, and an easy on and off. I think you would enjoy a bigger boat especially since you stated you fish Mille Lacs.
