English River level

How is the water level on the English this summer? Will be heading up later this year fishing in the Ignace area and was curious if it was up or down for this time of year.

Try lwcb dot ca. That is the ministry's official water level site. Of course, if you are smart enough to comprehend it, will you teach me?

In talking to our resort two days ago, the water is up from where it was in the spring (also part of the English River, but on the inflow side) by about 6". That being said, it is still low, or lower than "normal".
