Mississippi Flatheads

I've been fishing the Mississippi a lot lately, about 3 or 4 times a week. I've been catching plenty of channels but want a few flatheads. Does anyone have any advice on bait or particular areas on the river that are good for them? I've been using live and cut chubs.

I was out on pool 2 friday night until we got booted off the river by the storm at about 1 am. There were quite a few kitty chasers out which is always nice to see. Decided to try a spot I haven't fished for a few years up by the airport and had some decent luck. I apparently had my [PoorWordUsage] magnet switched on high. While we were anchored not more than 75 yards up river from some moored barges(we were in 8 FOW on an inside bend) we had our lines run over not once but twice within a 1/2 hour time period! mad Not sure why anyone would choose to go between an anchored boat and shore when there is literally over 200 yds of deeper water on the other side is beyond me... confused Anyways, after the traffic died down we ended up tangling with a few different schools of hungry kitties. Twice we had doubles that hit at the same time. And both times we pulled up 12 pound twins. Crazy fun!! We ended up putting a handful of channels over 10 in the boat and about an equal number under 10. Still haven't seen a flat for a couple of weeks but I know it's only a matter of time...
