mississippi water levels/catfishing

are the waters in pool 2 up recently and is it affecting the cats? i'll be out thursday night fishing cut bait and probably suckers. limited options as we will be leaving from work.

was in pool 2 friday night and the water was still moving pretty good, we were in a boat but there were a couple of shore anglers i think they got one small channel. We ended up with 1 33" flat, had a few other runs to. I think if your in a boat you will have better luck depending on where ou fish

I agree. The shore gets fished hard. I have found if you go through the brush a ways down you almost always have better luck then the hard hit shore spots. I love fishing from my boat but can be frustrating.

was out last night flow is way slower than lately, find a seam, fish it find ones ear unique structure, you will find fish. i used cut bait last night couple runs one 30'' channel one 2'' flat slow but not unsuccessfull. sand ars got channel action late night right now.
