Peregrine Falcon

Was out fishing this evening and spied this falcon. It was straight above me about 50ft while I was in a canoe. Took over a dozen shots while messing with the settings on a point and shoot camera. This is the best one that came out and it's cropped.

This is the third time I've seen this bird, first time was last fall. Was much more tolerant of my presence this time around.

I always take seeing a raptor while fishing as a good sign, biggest bass of the year so far was caught tonight.

It's a city bird. I've watched merlin hunt this way up north. Waiting for birds to fly out over an open expanse of water.
