If it where the switch they would not be blinking on the dash. The Multifunction "switch" isn't really a switch. It's more like a sending unit or sensor, It supplies three different signals to the BCM depending on the position of the lever. The BCM then decided what bulbs to send power to.

So is there away of testing the bcm? I wouild think that if the switch is sending power to the bcm and then the bcm is turning on the dash lights that it wouldbe a wiring issue that i cant find or is there two diffrent out putts on a bcm?

thanks putter

You can check the output on the Wht/DkGrn, Wht/Brn, Wht/Tan, and Wht/LtGrn at the BCM connector 2 pins 1,2,3, & 4. If there is no power there than I would be suspicious of the BCM. If there is power there than you have a wiring issue. The right and left turn indicator are on a separate circuit from the BCM. They should be on connector 4 and pins 9 & 17 (wht/tan, wht/lt grn wires)
