Guest
Hi everyone,I am unaware of the rules on this forum so let me know if I need to post a first story before I can have my questions answered. That is the way it is on another forum I am a member to. I need some pictures of walleye, sauger and especially saugeye (walleye x sauger cross). Preferabley pictures of just the fish without anyone holding it. Also if anyone has a picture of all three fish laying next to each other that would be great. The reason I need these pictures is for a school project I am working on. Being from Oregon it is impossible for me to go out and get these pictures. We only have Walleye in the state. My group and I are working on a project on Saugeye and want some really good pictures of them and the distinguishing color characteristics between them and walleye and sauger.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thank You Jim

jegerjack
Aquaman, I went to the link you put up and looked at that walleye, whew, that is one ugly eye.... Reminds me of the 10 pounder my uncle caught in canada a few years back. Even though it was big it was still the ugliest eye I had ever saw. But then again, is there such thing as an ugly 10 pounder....JegerJack------------------"What did the old man trade for these guys, a used puck bag?" Guest
So just out of curiosity, why is a person in Oregon doing a story on a fish that's not native to there? I'm not criticizing - in fact, learning is always a good thing. But I'm just curious?
Guest
Rick - Thanks for the heads up.Consultant - I am in the Fisheries and Wildlife program at Oregon State University and a requirement for graduating from this program is to complete a sequence of "Group Problem Solving." Our group chose to research viable aquaculture ventures and saugeye is one of the selected. Thanks for the interest,Jim
Guest
"Group Problem Solving" - wow...nothing like trying to solve a problem by committee Ever watch the results from Congress?
