Maybe perchjerker or Northlander can answer this question. I did a search on this but could not find anything. I have an original powerdrive, has the built in sonar which I believe Minnkota called US1. The unit I was running off of Minnekota - an Eagle Fishmark 480 - died and I am in the market for a new one. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like any of the newer lowrances (the Mark 5) are supported by US1. In general it doesn't look like much is supported by the US1 (come on, I know its old but my goodness, there are still a ton of them out there). Does anyone know if I can hook up a lowrance Mark 5 to US1 - if yes, p/n would be appreciated? If not, is there an adapter to transistion from US1 to US2 so I can "bridge" the two?? I believe the us2 is 5 wires and us1 is 3 - I know at least one of the wires is temp and maybe the other is for dual frequency - I'm just guessing. I really want to avoid mounting the transducer on the bottom of the moter if it can be avoided. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and Good Luck. Paul
