This past weeked went through shetek state park to find them swatting their 250+ acres of grass. Shouldnt a state park of all place's know that's it's nesting season? Just needed to vent abit about the whole deal!

Goto the office at Shetek and complain!!! It does no good here!!

It does seem kind of late to be burning but ones years loss of nests will be offset by better habitat - thicker grass and less trees - in future years.
