Fishing League

I have a question on fishing leagues. Since I quite playing softball this year a friend and myself are going to start a fishing league just between some friends. How do most fishing leagues work are they strictly a walleye or bass league or do different fish score high then others or is it just overall weight? We are trying to work out some kind of scoring system. We are going to set up the schedule so we are at a different lake each week. To be honest the fishing league is going to be a reason for most to get away from the wife once a week and bragging rights at the end. Thanks for any help

It is a multi species league that scores fish by weight.
By the way you and your freinds would be more than welcome to join either the Statewide LETS or the Metro division.They are both just for fun.

Thanks for the invite Dennis Steele, unfortunately we live in the northern metro and were thinking about changing lakes each week an traveling down there would not fly with most all ready involved. I like the scoring they have set up. Thanks for the info

a group of us started a small leauge of about 8 boats . we go 7 weeks and pick a diffident lake each week for walleye and northerns and it is total inches for each one.
