Manion Lake / Grey Trout

Has anyone been on the Manion Lake Road this spring? What kind of shape is it in? I know it has been getting a little rougher every year. I'm planning on running it next Wednesday June 2.

Just returned this past sunday from Hyatts. The road was in preety good shape,some wash board sections as usual. There have been two graders working the road this year so that has helped out. There's some road construction on hwy 11 about a 10 mile stretch more towards mine centre. PS don't forget your dollar for the toll(I won't get into that)

Good luck bring a head net the gnats are bad.

Thanks for the report. Last year we got hung for well over an hour up due to loading a pulp truck. We get on the airplane in Ignace and head north from there. We are well north of there so I hope we are out of gnat country. I have a special wallet full of Loonies & Twoonies just in case.

The toll is optional. Most locals are passing without paying the toll and no hassle. Just slow down and pass on threw if you want or give a loonie. It is all about whether you support First Nations issues.
