Champs
I have an old Toro riding mower. I checked the oil the other day and it barley registered that there was oil. Can I simply add to it or do I need to find the drain plug and get the old stuff out? Also, can anyone tell me what kind of oil I should put in it? I don't have a manual or anything. Thanks. Ralph Wiggum
I'd do a complete change if I were you. Get all that crud out. Should be able to find a drain plug somewhere on the bottom of the motor. As for oil, SAE 30 is probably a safe bet.

Tom7227
if you go to their HSOforum you seem to be able to download owners manuals. Probably worth your time to do it, and save it so you can check it out next time.
