Just wondering if anyone has any do's and don't tips when it comes to mounting a kicker motor on a I/O. Picked up a 15hp 4 stroke tiller this week and I might try to get it mounted on the boat this weekend, although I don't have a mounting plate ..... yet.

Well you definitly will want to be carefull drilling throught the transom, make sure you are all clear on the inside of the boat. You dont want to drill into anything or have a hole in a location you cant get to.
