Abndoc
I recently was given a 14 foot lund with a 25 horse johnson and trailer from my grandpa. I'm wondering what will happen to the boat if I take the middle bench out. I've heard some guys say nothing, but one person told me the boat will flex to much. Have any of you ever done this? thanks
Tullibee
Here is what I did with my 14 footer and haven't had any problems yet.http://www.hotspotoutdoors.com/forum/ubb...od_#Post1352755
SkunkedAgain
I've never done it, but from what I understand it will flex more but probably not enough to scare a guy in his 20s/30s. Bench seats provide the structural tension for those boats, but removing one shouldn't ruin it. Just make sure to plug any holes left in the hull.
