on board charger

I bought a Minnkota MK 220 but found it's to big to fit in the compartment of my '02 Lund Fisherman. Twice the size of the Guest 20 amp charger that I am replacing. The rig tube goes forward and don't want to mount way up front. Any suggestions on chargers or rigging?

if you bought it new, couldnt you just return it? either way, where and in what are you installing it?

I have an '01 Fisherman and installed the onboard charger on the vertical surface beneath the passenger side console. It seems to get the air circulation it needs yet has never been in the way.

I also have an 01 Fisherman. I put it in the exact same spot under the passenger councel. It is also the MK 220. The book says to put it in a spot that gets air. Good Luck!!

That is virtually the only place I could find on my Trophy 170 too. I was surprised of the size and weight of that thing.
