I think it would be cool to have a one-day event for kids under 8 (adults must be accompanied by a child) this spring, while the fish are still shallow. I'm willing to solicit sponsors for door prizes and catch prizes and food could be pot-luck/picnic. No fee, unless I can't get sponsors. It would be shore/pier fishing. Before I try to solicit sponsors, I need to know interest.
I'm operating out of Wright County, so I'd like to see this thing happen in the Mpls/St.Paul or St. Cloud Metro area. Sound off if you're interested in something like this, and throw out ideas.

Just 8 and under? How about 14 and under...
I currently do a lot of kids fishing events through out the summer and was thinking about putting together one...when wham! there is one on the site. I would also be able to get a hold of a few manufactuers to give some prizes im sure. Also be willing to help out. drop me a line if you still interested we can trade ideas...
