Electrical Question

We just picked up our pop-up yesterday and have been playing/getting it ready to use. My question is...will a regular portable radio work off of the camper battery? As of now it wont, but if I plug the main power from the camper to the house, the radio works. Is this a voltage/amp situation.

THanks!!

what kind of radio, 120 volt or like a car radio? not sure what you mean regular portable radio? if it has a regular house plug then it wont work unless it has a plug for 12v adaptor. You could always buy a cheap inverter and that way you can run other things from a battery when you want.

To clairify...when I use the camper outlets I get no power when just running off the battery...BUT when I plug the power cord from camper to a house outlet it works. I'm guessing the 3prong plugs only work when power is coming into the camper instead of running off the battery.
