Sorry, if you won a tag in the lottery you will not be able to purchase another. frown

There are many left over in Wisconsin if you've got to scratch that itch. wink

I just know these things grin plus, I've tried it.

In a quick search all I could find in writing was this:

Turkey - spring surplus ®

Description:

Residents who applied, but were not selected for a wild turkey license, may purchase a surplus turkey license for the areas and time periods when available.

My buddy got a bow tag by mistake and he called the DNR and he had to forefit his tag and the money paid for it to have it canceled so he could get one for the OTC gun tag.

Look on your tag for the DNR phone # and give them a call worst case you cant do it but you have the tag you got.

If you haven't purchased the MN license yet, I'd say to go for the Wisconsin surplus if you can. I am already hunting SD and MN, but I've been considering WI too. $60 for the license, $5.25 for the stamp, and you can by additional tags for $15 each (might be limit of 1 extra). Not too bad really when you compare to other states.

Wisconsin DNR site shows some are left for the later time slots in zones 1, 3 and 4.

If you go to the WI DNR HSOforum it's not too hard to find.
