Jim Uran
I've finally MADE some time to just sit down and get 'er done. I shouldn't even be posting this w/o pics, but I promise I'll get them on tonight after work. I didn't do anything fancy with the rod, but boy is it lightweight compared to the rods I have been using. This one is a 6'10" RX7 ISB 822.5 blank, I put split grips on it and had fun wrapping the sucker yesterday. The first guide looked horrible but I got better as I went up the rod. It's on the dryer at home now spinning away. It's ugly but it'll get the job done #2 is the 7" inshore popping blank that will be my crappie rod. I've got the grips and seat epoxied on, that one will be getting the wraps on it tonight so I can put her to work this weekend sometime. Sorry the thread wrap didn't set up completely, I had it in my basement and it was a little cooler down there than it should have been! Tonight, I'll get the pics up

upnorth
From what I can see, nice work. The guide wrap looks tight and no overlaps or gaps. Good work!!
