Just recently purchased a new boat that has a 150 h.o e-tec. My ?? is, at around 9-12mph and holding at that speed . the motor has a raspy whistely sound, fairly loud. Below or above that speed it is very quiet. I called the mechanic at the dealer and he said it was normal due to the rpm range, it is in the transion mode for that engine, going from low tourqe to high tourqe. anybody else with a similar engine experiance this.

if it gets worse then maybe

thses motors are soo high tech who knows

little off the track but i use to drive alot of truck

and cat motors use to whistle (probably still do )

but i always thought they were the best !!
