Mitchell Kleindl Memorial 3D Archery Shoot

Hey everyone,

Our new Sportsman's Club is putting together the first Mitchell Kleindl Memorial 3D Archery Shoot this year April 24th- 25th. Sat 8am to 5pm, and Sun 8am to 3pm. This shoot is a memorial for Mitchell. Mitchell was killed in a tragic farm accident July 15, 2009 at the age of 13. He had such a great love for bowhunting and 3D shooting that we deciced to have a shoot in his memory and try and pass his love on to other kids. The shoot will be held at Neimackl Lake Park 4 miles south of Herman, MN and 16 miles north of Morris, MN on Hwy 9. There will be 40 targets with 5 stakes: Youth, Women, Traditional, Compound, and toughman team. Cost will be $15 for individual, $20 for team, and $30 for a family. All money will go towards the continuation of this shoot. Thank you.

I hope I am doing nothing wrong by posting this here. I am just trying to get the word out on this shoot. We are not looking to make money for our club, just to keep the shoot going and start a scholarship fund in Mitchell's memory. Plese let me know if this should not be here. Thanks.

Just wanted to say thank you to anyone that attended the archery shoot. We had 175 shooters for our first shoot which we felt was a great success. Saw many families out shooting which was so great to see. Thanks again to anyone that attended.

Glad you had a good shoot. 175 is a pretty large number for any 3D shoot these days. Congrats! Wasn't able to make this one, but keep us posted on any upcoming shoots.

I couldnt make it this year but am glad to hear it had a great turn out, next year i have every intention of being there. My father farms by Dumont and I graduated from graceville 3 years ago. I happened to by driving by the farm palce the day the accident happened. Best of wishes to the family and again im glad to hear it had such a good turn out!
