SONofSIMON
My lawn is very rough and uneven. You could easily twist your ankle while walking on it. What are some things that can be done to fix this problem?
klecker
Deal with it for the summer. Then spray it off and regrade and seed this fall.Or due everything but sod instead of seed in a few weeks if the weather keeps up. Or in the fall get abunch of dirt and level by hand then reseed. LwnmwnMan2
Do the second of two options that klecker put out there.Get some quality black diry and spread it over the top of the existing grass. The existing grass will grow up through the dirt and you can seed new grass ontop of the new dirt. This will fill in the low spots and make it even with the high spots.Just make sure you rake everything level. If you have a bigger yard, do it in patches. There's no law that says you have to have the entire yard 100% in 3 weeks. If it takes a year or two, that's fine. Get one area going nicely and then move onto the next. Eventually it'll all be in shape.
