Flint
When my trolling motor overheats, what is the quickest way to restart?
walleyemaniac
How is your trolling motor over heating never heard of such a thing?!
slammer
Do you have a curcuit breaker on you battery(s)? If your motor is getting hot you may have motor problems or something is wired wrong. A breaker will protect you motor from damage. What kind of motor do you have?
PerchJerker
Are you talking about automatic resetting circuit breakers that are going off? If so you probably don't have big enough breakers --- 50 amps won't do it, you need a 60 amp breaker. Hope that helps.
