I will however state fact, as fact is unable to be argued with. There is alot of variables to consider for the people that didn't use a transom saver. Did they tow with the motor all the way up, using the motor tilting lock? Did they tow all the way down and let thier motor flop around? Was it mostly fiberglass boats or aluminum? How many transoms needed fixing in the 15-25hp range the poster asked about? Not bashing savers at all, but I think with a little common sense, there are other alternatives also.
