If you do go with the 1825, don't overlook the 135 Merc Opti.

The only difference between the 150 and the 135 is the lower unit gear ratio, and about $3000.00.

I don't have my motor fully broken in yet but it'll do 45+ mph gps speed right now.

If you're looking at a 4 stroke 42-43 mph shouldn't be out of the question.

I originally looked at the 1725 and thought that the deal on the 1825 was a little better then the 1725 at a different dealer.
