Motor guide?

Just wanting to hear some opinions about their transom mount trolling motors. Was thinking about purchasing their vari-speed 24 volt 75 lb. thrust for my 16 ft. My boat is too heavy for the 50 lb Minn-kota Endura that I have, so I was gonna go bigger, but the Minn-kotas are about $100 more.

Maybe not much help to you but I have a Motor Guide 46lb thrust that is a little bit older, but it has worked well for me on my older 16' Crestliner. I've been pleased so far but haven't used it extesively enough yet to have too much of an opinion on it.

I don't know about transom mount motor guides, but bow mounts I have never heard anyone say anything good about them. I sold a Minnkota bow mount a few years ago, and the majority of people that inquired about it were people wanting to replace their motorguide motor that they hated. Maybe that extra $100 may be worth it in the long run?
