larryz
With the snow melting slowly I am finding areas that appear to have snow mold I believe it is called. Is there anything that I can do at this time to help these areas?
bassmann77
I went on the U of M extension page because I noticed I have a large section of my yard that has it. There is two different kinds pink and gray. Pink can cause more damage then the gray. The U of M said you can gently rake up the area to allow drying. In the fall they recommended to cut the grass and rake leaves to prevent matting and good moist areas for the mold to grow and don't put to much nitrogen fertilizer in. If the area is bad year after year, check how much snow is piled up and if possible don't pile the snow in that area.
CJH
Leave it alone and let it dry.
