Navigator
Okay, it's officially spring (thermometer reads 80) but that aside next weekend is the Big Stone opener!!! I've been fishing that lake for 6 years and it's one fantastic fishery. Typically the shallows is you're best bet for action. A number of methods from pitching jigs, to slip bobbers, to trolling cranks work. Does anyone know if the ice is off the lake? The last time I called Bud's bait they said it was just starting to open up on the north end. Any comments or past successes from fishing this huge walleye lake, let's hear it. WarrenA
I have not done to much walleye fishing on Big Stone, but I have fished the perch and bluegills last Sept. limited out on perch. I have noticed that there is little mention of Big Stone in the web site or I may not know where to look. I plan on fishing Big Stone in the future and would like to see more about it. Thanks
