mule deer hunt help

Im looking at trying my luck mule deer hunting in Neb. and was wondering where would be the best place to go without spending alot of money.

Look anywhere west of US 281. If it were me, I would check the Burwell area, but others may chime in on better locales. As far as accomodations, you can't go wrong anywhere, IMO once you get to "western" Nebraska. If you narrow down a rough geographic area, let me know and I will see what I can find out for you.

Pine Ridge area would be another area to look at. Googgle Nebraska Game and Parks and you should be able to get more info there. They have a section that shows you public hunting and shared public hunting areas that are available. You should also ask this question at the forums on [YouNeedAuthorization].org. Good Luck

Like NEANGLER said, look at the Nebraska Game and Parks webpage. That is your best starting point. How cheap do you want to go? Hotel? Camper? There is a lot of ranch area out there and finding a place to hunt off of the beaten path shouldn't be too hard. Chadron is a wide open area, not a lot of hunters per sq. mile. Chadron is also a "bigger" town for that area, so lodging won't be an issue.
