Why do some discussions end up with a lock/thread close on them? I had a question regarding Jessie Lake in Itasca cty. All of a sudden it's closed, how does this happen and why?

Ole,

If you click on the link to the locked topic most times you will see at the top of the page that it has been transferred to a different forum. In your case, your question concerning Jessie Lake was transferred to the Grand Rapids forum. This is mainly done to improve the number of repsonses that you would/will receive.
