How do we configure the settings on it to maximize production while fishing?

If you recently purchased the unit, there are 2 very helpful DVD's in the package that will serve you well on this. Check them out, it should quickly help you understand the simple calibration process to achieve what you wish.

If you for some reason do not have them, check out the Vexilar web site and you will find helpful tutorials there also on streaming video.

There will also be helpful articles on the how and why's involved in sonar, also very educational and useful.

Basically it is as easy as 1-2-3 really.

1 - Power On

2 - Set Depth Range

3 - Calibrate the Gain to read your bait presentation.
