They is a few things i dont like about the wilcrafts there is only three holes in them and its hard to drill the holes inside of it. when i used one we drilled the holes then lifted it over the holes. and for 12000 gran you can buy a wheeler for half of that and be able to do more. you can tow things with a wheeler and another problem with the wilcraft is it is so long you can go over very high banks or drifts. the bottom gets hung up. and you need to have a really long trailer.

where to begin?

Number of holes? With an X2 canopy it's easy to have 6 holes.

two of them would be through the portholes in the hull, four would be outside of the hull but inside the canopy (just like they are in a clam or otter)

Drlling? three choices

- drill alonside, then slide the hull over the holes.

- drill out front, then drive over (onto) the holes

- drill right through the portholes like you would in a wheel house; it's not hard, you just have to be a little careful when pulling the auger out

going over banks?

if you get highcentered, you're not stuck like you are with a wheeler. because the bottom of a Wilcraft is much like the bottom of a otter or clam, you just retract the front wheels and slide down the other side of the bank. (for this technique, think more like operating a snowmobile than a wheeler)

transporting?

a twelve foot trailer is ideal

but my favorite way to haul one is in the back end of a pickup truck (I do it that way quite often)
