I would like to give a little applause to the guys and gals that kept Sprint car racing alive last year.

With the economy going south they decided to join forces with multiple leagues and kept it going.

I was able to attend the meeting and awards banquet last night and it was nice.

I also would like to give a huge congrats to the points champion from 2009 Leigh Thomas from Cloquet, Mn!

Leigh is my Brother-law and I pitted for him for years.

I just want to say it was a long time coming and alot of blood, sweat and tears to get there.

The whole story is cool and the league is great, they are doing what they can to keep the price down and the racing high quality.

This league is now racing at several tracks locally and may I say if you have a chance, go to 1 of the races.

I believe the schedule is up, we were handed these last night.
