Fishing around west bay resort

Recommended Posts

Well we are venturing back after a great year last year at woodlands resort, unfortunately they are booked so we are staying at West Bay Resort...

Anyone have any experience with this resort or have any good tips for fishing in the area, we are bringing up the youngsters this year, so we hope to limit our travels on the ice...

Any info (good or bad)would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I dont have any experiance with west bay resort. but last year i saw alot of big fish at the cleaning table comeing out of west bay. from what i have heard the west bay humps and all around west bay to the flats or grahams island and the gap offer alot of structure on the edge of deep water. It shouldnt be a problem finding fish and hopefully they bite.

Diane the owner of west bay is great, they will make sure your stay is great! They run a good operation and very good prices! You can also go to Pelican to fish just across the road from west bay there is some good areas there also!
